Relaxing at Burrill Lake and Golf at Batemans Bay
16th February 2018 It is our last day on holiday, before heading home to Sydney tomorrow. It is an overcast morning, and we have booked golf at Catalina Country Club in Batemans Bay for 10am, so need to get on our way by 8.30am. On arrival at Catalina Country Club it is surprisingly busy. It is a 27 hole course, so they have a combination of tee off options and the crowd seems to be dissipating quickly. The course looks fantastic, and we opt to play the first 18 holes, which in the pro's opinion, is the best combination. It is easily one of the best courses we have played on this trip and it took us only a little over 3.5 hours to complete our round on foot. Carole managed to claw back a few points on our final round of the tournament, so the end result was a win for Mike by 17 points. After lunch at the club, we drove back to Burrill Lake for a rest and to have a look around. The motel is right on the waterfront, next to a caravan park and also a new bridge across the lak...
